Sharing our farm with the community is one of the great joys of being farmers. We’re excited to bring people out to the farm for tours, classes and events. As we grow these offerings, don’t hesitate to reach out if there is an event you’d love to see us host!

On November 19th 2022 from 1-3pm a sausage making class was held at the farm using local pork.
Jake did a hands-on walkthrough of preparing, seasoning, grinding, and stuffing your own sausages. Class participants took home 5 lbs of fresh sausage that they personally helped prepare. Cost $80.00. Included refreshments
We had a great time in our introduction to fermentation class held at the farm. we took a farm tour, sampled various fermented foods/beverages and made a carrot/garlic/jalapeno ferment using produce from the farm.
From June through October we offer guided farm tours to groups and individuals. Experience the beauty and serenity of our farm with our farm tours led by the farmers, Jake and/or Ashley. Explore our hoop houses, garden plots, and picturesque landscapes. See how we grow our flowers, produce & berries and keep bees. Gain insight into sustainable farming practices and connect with the earth in a unique and engaging way. Click on the 'Find Out More' Button to book. We are now booking tours through our online store on GrownBY.
What is a community fridge?
Beginning in the summer of 2023 The Office Shop in downtown Calumet will host our first community fridge. We will be asking vendors from the Calumet Farmers Market, the market at the Calumet Art Center and other small gardeners to donate what they can. Volunteers will pick up the food and deliver to The Office Shop every Saturday starting in Mid-June. The Office Shop is open Saturdays until 4pm and Monday-Friday 7:30-5pm. Closed on Sundays. The Office Shop already has a food pantry running so please stop in there if you are in need or if you would like to donate shelf stable goods or make a monetary donation to purchase more food. The fridge will be cleaned out every Friday and re stocked every Saturday. Any food left at the end of the week will be donated to a family to feed to their farm animals.
Please email us if you would like more information or if you would be interested in donating to the fridge. Our hope is that we will have fridges in all of our surrounding communities.
Thank you to Sue Peterson for partnering in the creation of this project!
