Sharing our farm with the community is one of the great joys of being farmers. We’re excited to bring people out to the farm for classes, events and farm dinners. As we grow these offerings, don’t hesitate to reach out if there is an event you’d love to see us host!

We will hold several fermentation classes in the fall. Carrot/Garlic/Jalapeno and a Sauerkraut class.
Jake will teach you how to harvest and bouquet beautiful flower arrangements.
Learn how to braid soft neck garlic. We will provide all materials and you will take home your braid. Class will be held in September.
Hands on sausage making class using local pork and other ingredients. Will be held at the farm in November.
Our first class of the series will be a discussion on where we source our seeds from, what grows well, soil mixes, nursery set up, seeding & transplanting.
Our second class will be a discussion about prepping your garden for planting. We will go over PH, no till/low till, tools used, fertilizers & amendments. Then we will discuss direct seeding & transplanting. Class will be in early June
The third class in our series will focus on how, when and why we harvest, what tools we use to harvest the different items, how we store produce and how we preserve the harvest.
Our final part to the series will explain how we close down the farm for the winter. Cleaning beds out and cover cropping, planting garlic or seeding for a spring crop, taking down infrastructure and storing items away for the winter and planning for the spring

Join us in September to learn how to harvest, cure and store winter squash. Official date and sign up will be announced in early September.
TOURS: We are a working farm and keep a very busy schedule. We ask that you please arrive at the time we have scheduled with you. If you are running behind, please call to let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late and/or we have not heard from you, your tour will be cancelled with no refund. To receive a full refund of your tour, please cancel or reschedule before 5 days of your date.
CLASSES: if you are registered for a class, you may cancel up to 7 days of the class and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of that session (or are a 'no-show') no refund will be issued. If you cannot make the class after the cancellation period you can send someone in your place.
In case of inclement weather we will reschedule the class for a different time.
No Pets Please
On November 19th 2022 from 1-3pm a sausage making class was held at the farm using local pork.
Jake did a hands-on walkthrough of preparing, seasoning, grinding, and stuffing your own sausages. Class participants took home 5 lbs of fresh sausage that they personally helped prepare. Cost $80.00. Included refreshments
We had a great time in our introduction to fermentation class held at the farm. we took a farm tour, sampled various fermented foods/beverages and made a carrot/garlic/jalapeno ferment using produce from the farm.
